Why I’m Opening a New Clinic in Downtown Toronto

For the past several years, I have been practicing under the Implant Dentistry Toronto name — working as an associate dentist across the GTA, providing patients with thorough, comprehensive dentistry and precise implant care grounded in evidence and delivered with patience. That work continues, and it always will.

But I have also been thinking carefully about what comes next — both for my practice and for the patients I hope to serve in the years ahead. That thinking has led me to a decision I am ready to share.

In 2027, I will be opening Innova Dental, a comprehensive dentistry clinic in downtown Toronto — designed around digital dentistry and advanced technology, and offering care across the full range of dentistry: from hygiene and preventive care to cosmetic dentistry, from oral surgery and endodontics to implant dentistry.

This is not a sudden change in direction. It is the result of years of reflection on how I want to practice, what kind of environment best supports careful and unhurried dentistry, and where I can reach a broader range of patients who need complex implant care.

I have been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years, and I consider that a privilege. Serving patients through the full arc of their care — from consultation through to long-term outcomes — is work that continues to matter deeply to me. Over those years, I have followed advancements in digital dentistry and implant dentistry closely, and I have integrated digital workflows into my practice because they produce more predictable outcomes and a better experience for the patient. The decision to open Innova Dental is, in part, an extension of that commitment — to bring comprehensive dentistry, supported by modern digital technology and advanced workflows, to a broader community in downtown Toronto.

Innova Dental will offer care across the full range of dentistry — preventive care and hygiene, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, as well as implant placement and restoration, and full-arch rehabilitation. The clinic is built around digital workflows and advanced technology, because precision and predictability matter at every stage of treatment, not only in implant cases.

I chose downtown Toronto deliberately. Many of my current patients travel considerable distances for their care. A central location will make things more accessible for those who live or work in the city's core. I also want to serve a community that, in my experience, is underserved by practices offering the level of careful, comprehensive implant care that complex cases require.

Innova Dental will be a single-dentist clinic. Every treatment plan will be reviewed and every procedure performed by me personally. The direct relationship between doctor and patient is not a luxury — it is the foundation of predictable clinical outcomes. That will not change.

Opening a new clinic is a significant undertaking, and I have taken the time to plan it carefully. The clinical environment, the team, and the treatment philosophy at Innova Dental have been considered with the same attention I bring to each treatment plan. My goal is a practice where every patient feels that their care is genuinely individualized — not templated, and not rushed.

If you have been waiting to address tooth loss, or if you have been told you may not be a candidate for implants due to bone deficiency or other challenges, I encourage you to reach out before the clinic opens. Consultations are available for patients who register early through the waitlist.
